The Inclusion Award will go to two UNB Students that have:
Created their own business that has had a positive impact on the UNB Community.
Demonstrated a dedication for entrepreneurship and to growing their business.
Acted as a mentor to other students that may have been interested in starting their own business.

Rocket Trade - Logan Geraghty
“My name is Logan Geraghty, and I am a 3rd-year business student here at UNB. I grew up in Campbellton, New Brunswick, but since graduating high school have moved to Fredericton full time. While completing my double major in Finance in Accounting, I found a passion for investing and educating. Upon realizing the lack of honest information surrounding the beginning concepts of trading on the stock market, I started my business, Rocket Trade. We aim to bridge the gap from beginner to the intermediate investor, providing valuable, honest, in-depth information that you need to be in control of your financial position.”
Sof's Sewing Shoppe - Sofia Mehlitz
“Sofia Mehlitz (pronounced MAIL-ITS) is a queer and non-binary student at UNB in their third year of a BSc in Psychology. On top of being a full-time student, they own a small sewing shop focused on sustainable and ethically made hair accessories, clothing and face masks that aims to reduce textile waste. What began as a side project producing scrunchies from deadstock fabric, grew to a small business run singlehandedly by Sofia.”
Tutor on Time
“Tutor on Time is a seamless and user-friendly online platform that connects students with expert tutors from their schools on short notice. For only $25/ hour, our automated system helps students find certified tutors to assist them with test preparation, regular tutoring, and assignments. Students can now get expert academic help for prices lower than a cup of coffee with our group tutoring sessions! In an industry where underpaying tutors and overcharging students is the norm, Tutor on Time is revolutionizing online tutoring by offering affordable and on-demand services.”

“I am going into my Third year in business and I am double majoring in finance and economics and concentration in TME. In the past one year I have noticed that it is easy to get a doctors appointment then a car mechanic appointment. So I met few local mechanics here in Fredericton and told that what if I come up with an app which has all the time slots and prices available about everything. And this app will show 7-8 mechanics from Fredericton. People need to call 3-4 garage to get an appointment. So this application will show info about. That makes life easier who owns car. I am still working on the app.”
