We will resume operations the fall 2023.
SafeRide provides a free drive home within a designated area for all UNB and STU students.
Students can use SafeRide by waiting at one of the pick-up points on campus for a van to arrive, then giving the driver your student ID card (UCard/STUcard) and the address of where you’re going.
SafeRide vans cannot be requested or called (on or off-campus), students must wait at the designated pick up-locations listed below for a van to arrive.
In the case of inclement weather, SafeRide will be cancelled for the safety of our drivers.

Accessibility is a priority at UNBSU! We are excited to announce that we have recently added an accessibility ramp on one of our SafeRide vans to ensure all student journeys with our SafeRide service is inclusive to everyone. All of our SafeRide drivers will be trained on how to use the ramp and will be able to help students using wheelchairs to get on and off our new wheelchair accessible SafeRide van.
