UNB Sustainability

UNB Sustainability is a program within Campus Operations that supports UNB in advancing as a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable institution.  UNB Sustainability works on various projects, with many internal and external partners, to improve the sustainability of the UNB Fredericton and Saint John Campus. We work with students, staff and faculty to increase the sustainability of university academics, engagement, planning and administration, and operations.  Our goal is to promote sustainable-action and green living at UNB.

One of the primary focuses of UNB Sustainability is student centered programming, such as Sustainability week, Green UNB, the Residence Energy Challenge, the Student Sustainability Fund, Bike to Campus Week, the Great Bike Giveaway, and the Hydroponic Greenhouse. To find out more about the programs we offered check out our “Get Involved” section on our website.
