February 23, 2016 - The Government of New Brunswick announced two major financial assistance programs for students on Thursday afternoon. The provincial government has created a new program known as Tuition Relief for the Middle Class (TRMC). TRMC is a tuition bursary which is awarded based on family size and income. New Brunswick undergraduate students studying at publicly funded institutions will be eligible for this program, which shall be implemented on August 1st, 2017. Premier Gallant also unveiled an initiative that will extend healthcare coverage to international students studying in New Brunswick.
