We are the official cricket club for UNB Fredericton since 2012. We play indoor and outdoor cricket. Our club members are from various International countries - India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar.

UNB Fencing Club

Founded in 1966, the UNB Fencing Club is the longest running fencing club in Atlantic Canada.

UNB REDS Field Hockey Club

Field hockey has a long-standing tradition of excellence at UNB. The UNB Reds Field Hockey team competes against teams from around the Maritimes. Open to new and experienced field hockey players that are attending the University of New Brunswick.

Our goal is to make skiing accessible and affordable for all students while building a vibrant community around the sport. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or trying it for the first time, the Ski Club offers trips, events, and opportunities to connect with fellow students who love the slopes. UNB Ultimate Frisbee (RedOno)

UNB RedOno is a mixed ultimate frisbee club, primarily based at the University of New Brunswick. We accept players of all genders and skill levels to practice the game of ultimate frisbee and (if interested) attend tournaments in Atlantic Canada

International Swim Program (UNB ISP)

The UNB International Swim Program offers free swimming lessons to refugees and immigrants in the City of Fredericton. Our program intends to teach water safety and increase confidence for newcomers of all ages who have little to no experience in the water. We also aim to break down the language barrier that often prevents newcomers from taking swimming lessons by providing translators both in and out of the water for a variety of languages. The UNB ISP is always looking for instructors and translators, with no experience necessary!

UNB Woodsmen

UNB is home to a unique and undying breed of forester – the UNB Woodsmen. These rugged competitors carry forward the history and traditions of the New Brunswick lumberjack, with roots tracing back to Forestry Week’s Faculty Night in the early 1960s.

Though self-coached, UNB has built a reputation as a powerhouse on the intercollegiate circuit, with many graduates competing professionally. Alumni such as Dave MacLeod, Leigh Black, John Walker, Rod Cumberland, and Nick Russell have appeared on ESPN, OLN, and STIHL Timbersports broadcasts.

UNB Rock & Ice Climbing Club

UNB Rock & Ice Climbing Club runs the rock climbing gym in the basement of the Lady Beaverbrook Gym. We host regular climbing, and indoor and outdoor events.
