Anthropology Society
The Anthropology Society focuses on bringing together anthropology students from across all years and disciplines to celebrate our shared interest in the human condition. We strive to:
- Provide a space for University of New Brunswick undergraduate students to discuss anthropological and archaeological topics and ideas
- Provide a positive environment where students can find a sense of community with students who share common anthropological and archaeological interests
- Encourage students to engage with anthropology and archaeology and educate them on matters pertaining to these topics

Atlantic Student Research Journal
The ASRJ is a student-led organization whose online platform cultivates the pursuit of knowledge, and innovation within the research and academic community. The ASRJ serves to connect students to research for the purposes of composing peer-reviewed articles which serve to advocate for cutting-edge topics within Atlantic Canada to undergraduate students and the public. In addition, exposure to volunteer opportunities, jobs, academic and networking events, and a researcher directory are all accessible within the ASRJ. Ultimately, this initiative aims to promote local research, encourage students to engage and commit to Atlantic Canadian provinces, and develop a more inquisitive and knowledgeable society. Biology Society
We are a group that hosts monthly events focusing on connecting students and profs interested in Biology! Events we typically host include a Paint & Pot, Candy DNA, Trivia, Profs on Tap, and a succulent sale! Membership spans all faculties, but we have an emphasis on biology and sustainability for our events.

Chemistry Society
The Undergraduate Chemistry Society is open to all undergraduate students regardless of their faculty or degree program. We host fun events throughout the year such as Chemistry Formal and Tie-Dyed Lab Coats. We also run the Science Resource Centre, which offers free tutoring in Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses to all students.

Classics Society
A society where we talk all things ancient world! We are a space for connecting with fellow classicists and enthusiasts to discuss ancient work and how that correlates with our current society. We also harbour a safe and cozy place to hang out, study, and meet some people around campus. Come hang out with us in Carleton 238, enjoy some hot beverages, and even the occasional baked treat!

Computer Science Association
The UNB Computer Science Association (CSA) strives to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for all people. We offer a diverse set of events throughout the year (several each month) to encourage socialization among Faculty of Computer Science students & professors, and those from other Faculties as well. All are welcome at CSA events! The CSA has a strong community focus, hosting fundraisers for the Children's Miracle Network hospitals and the Fredericton Community Kitchen. We also provide a voice for CS students to communicate with the Faculty, the Student Union, and the University at large.

Engineering Undergraduate Society
The UNB Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS) represents all undergraduate students of the Faculty of Engineering and works to make the university experience more enjoyable. We organize events such as Engineering Orientation, Shadow Day, as well as offer valuable academic services and a wealth of knowledge on topics such as academic advising, course selection, and more. We also select the the Engineering Endowment Fund (EEF) Chair to our executive responsible for overseeing the distribution of a large portion of the differential fee. We believe in giving back to the community that has always supported us, and do so by raising funds for various causes.

Girls STEM Up
Girls STEM Up was inspired by young, female students who found themselves grappling with gender inequality in their respective degrees and felt compelled to contribute toward a change. We are strong advocates for the inclusion and promotion of women in STEM fields in our daily lives, which led to the establishment of this conference. We aim to make a meaningful impact on girls’ careers through strengthening existing partnerships for women in STEM and introducing new ones.

Pre-dental Club
The UNB Pre Dental Club is a fantastic resource for students wishing to pursue a career in dentistry!
Our club bridges the gap between high school and dental school, while supplying most resources necessary for preparation for the application process at major Dental Schools in Canada, and some international schools.
Our events encompass and supplies the raw material for preparation for the DAT (Dental Aptitude Test), manual dexterity fun, and dental school application information. We equally host a fun volunteering event, as well as some awesome fundraisers!

UNB History Society (UNBHS)
The UNB Undergraduate History Society welcomes all UNB students with an interest in history. We focus on planning events and creating an inviting environment to meet like-minded students through our departmental lounge (Tilley 107). We hold a minimum of two events per month, with one for members only and the other for the public. The UNBHS also publishes a student-run journal called Timepieces, which is a place for undergraduate students to publish history papers and get writing credits for their CVs and portfolios—or just bragging rights.

Law student society
All UNB Law students are members of the LSS. Each year of study is represented on LSS Council and Faculty Council. LSS Council is overseen by the LSS Executive, which is comprised of four student members: the President, Vice President, Vice President of Finance, and First Year (1L) Executive Representative.
The LSS representatives sit on various committees, including Faculty Council. The LSS is also responsible for setting policy and rendering decisions that have a significant impact on the life of UNB Law students.
The LSS also supports a range of student clubs and societies, social functions, and athletic activities to provide the student body with rewarding opportunities to get involved in the UNB Law community.

UNB Pre Law Society (UNBPLS)
The object of UNB Pre-Law is to provide a positive environment for University of New Brunswick (“UNB”) undergraduate students that are planning or considering going to law school or obtaining a career in the legal profession. Our events typically include things such as LSAT preparation study groups, panel events with local legal professionals, law school tours + Information sessions, law firm shadowing opportunities, and an annual competitive Mock Trial against other undergraduate Pre-Law societies!.

The Nursing Undergraduate Society is the voice of nursing students on the Fredericton campus. They also plan social activities for nursing students like Dean’s List Dinner, orientation activities and the annual Nursing Gala.

Renaissance College Society
The objective of RCS is to organize social events, activities, and community fundraisers for the members of the Renaissance College Society and their guests throughout the academic year. This includes working with the College Coordinator to plan orientation events for first-year Renaissance College students. Membership is granted to all students enrolled in the faculty of Renaissance College or the B. Phil Program at the University of New Brunswick as a full-time student. Members may vote in elections, run for elected positions, and attend RCS events.

Student Society for Mechanical Engineers
The SSME exists as an opportunity for mechanical engineering students to meet socially outside of the classroom environment. The SSME promotes engineering education, in particular, mechanical engineering at UNB. It also encourages other faculties to join and participate in the various mechanical activities throughout the year.
Women in Computer Science and Software Engineering ( WiCSE)
The goal of UNB's student-run WiCSE club is to foster an accepting and encouraging environment for women and underrepresented genders in computer science and engineering. In addition to organizing enjoyable events, networking gatherings, and conferences to create enduring relationships, we also empower students through peer-learning programs, technical seminars, hackathons, and mentorship. By offering chances for academic and professional growth, resources, and role models, WiCSE hopes to inspire the next generation of tech leaders.
Albert Ross Undergraduate English Society (ARUES)
The Albert Ross Undergraduate English Society (ARUES) is a society for lovers of all things revolving around English Literature! Reading and writing are pillars of the ARUES. The society focuses on a mix of academic and creative English Literature and hosts many fun literature-themed events.

The UNBLWSO Student Association was created to help bring together those interested in the Law in Society program, or who are already a part of it. We are the society affiliated with the Philosophy Department here at the University of New Brunswick.
