Meet Francisco Bonilla

Francisco Bonilla is the Vice President of Finance and Operations at the UNB Student Union and a Finance and Economics student in the Faculty of Management. Originally from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Francisco is focused on ensuring that the Union operates efficiently, transparently, and in the best interests of students.

He manages club funding, financial policies, internal hiring, and services such as The Paper Trail. He also leads sponsorship efforts and supports Orientation Vice-Chairs with budgeting and operations.

This year, Francisco aims to improve internal processes and increase engagement with clubs and societies. He brings a results-driven approach focused on affordability and accountability, working to expand student access to services without raising costs.

Motivated by a desire to make a tangible impact, Francisco joined the SU to advocate for student needs and create lasting improvements. His long-term goals include a career in finance and policy, centered on economic development and public good.
