Meet Paige, Vice President of Student Engagement for the 2026-2027 year!
Before her start at UNB, Paige came from Brooklin, a tiny town about 45 minutes east of Toronto where she grew to love being involved in her school and community (and, of course, her dogs!). Paige’s roots in student leadership began in elementary school where she played nearly every sport and participated in every club she could. Throughout high school Paige was also a member of the Student Council Executive team, all culminating to her term as Co-President in 2022-2023.
At UNB, Paige has had many different roles from a Dean’s List student to a Student Fundraiser with the UNB Office of Development and Donor Relations. Although Paige’s career plans have been seemingly ever-changing since starting at university, she has found her calling and is now pursuing an Honours degree in Sociology and specialized certificate in Family Violence Issues. Her interests are rooted in understanding social systems, advocacy, and using her research to contribute to meaningful change in her community. Paige has been able to further develop these skills through her work as a Program Facilitator at the John Howard Society of Fredericton where she has developed and delivered various programs such as, Managing Anger and Difficult Emotions, Youth Sexual Harm Intervention, Education, and Learning for Difference, as well as Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities. Paige hopes to further develop her passion by pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work after graduating from UNB.
As the VP of Student Engagement, Paige looks forward to bringing authentic excitement and fun back into UNBSU's Campus Events! From our Kick-Off Concert to the famous Red N' Black Revue, even collaborations like Rail Jam and Sex Week, Paige and her team are responsible for bringing you the best UNBSU events each year. Paige is looking forward to hearing from students and other members of the UNB community to ensure that student life is enriching and representative of students’ interests. So, Paige’s door is always open to chat (unless it’s not because she’s in class). Through her position as VP, Paige is excited to support her peers as they balance the demands of university while still maintaining fulfilling and vibrant personal lives. In other words, work hard to play even harder!
