Description:
UNB Recreation Services (URec) is the campus provider of recreational programs and services. If you’re a full-time UNB student, you’re automatically registered as URec member! Your UNB UCard serves as a URec membership card and provides you with access to the Richard J. CURRIE CENTER and LB Gym/SMA Pool. Other highlights of your student membership include:

  • INTRAMURALS – URec offers intramural soccer, volleyball, hockey, dodgeball & more. Intramural sports (apart from ice sports) are free for student members!

  • GROUP FITNESS – URec offers fun and energetic group fitness class for all fitness levels! Indoor cycling, bootcamp, yoga-inspired classes & more. Classes are offered year-round, available on a drop-in basis and are free for student members!

  • SPORT CLUBS – URec’s sport clubs offer a wide variety of recreational, competitive and instructional opportunities. While clubs may vary in level of competition and commitment, each provide an opportunity to be a part of a team and represent UNB!  

  • PERSONAL TRAINING – URec’s staff of certified trainers can guide, support and motivate you on your health & wellness journey. Individual & group sessions are available. UNB students receive 20% off personal training packages.
