Hi Friends! I’m Matt, third year law student at our beautiful school. Grew up basically in Winnipeg but lived around the country and the world. Got my BA in linguistics at University of Winnipeg though then lived in Toronto for the last little while doing web development for a motley array of ad agencies and start-ups.
I love cooking; spending time with my dog Brandy; playing, producing and listening to music; trivia; early 20th century literature; greasy reality tv; gritty film; non competitive sports; and trying literally anything. And I love the community here at UNB. I’m proud to represent my little cloistered corner of campus and the entire (but just undergraduate, duh) student body.
You can find me in, you know, Ludlow, procrastinating in the lounge, passing the time in the library, whiling away in the lobby, or like fully asleep in class. Please don’t hesitate to message me, email me, talk to me in person or honk a friendly honk from a moving car, maritimes-style.

Hi everyone, I’m Gabbie! I’m a third-year Arts student majoring in Media Arts and Cultures and minoring in Computer Science. I was born in Fredericton and have lived here my entire life. My favourite things to do include exploring new places, playing video games, and admiring the view from the big windows in the SUB (usually with a French vanilla from Tim’s). When I’m not taking care of my puppy, I can usually be found in the Atrium or in the Commons at the HIL. I’m super excited to be serving as your Arts Councillor, so don’t hesitate to stop by for a chat, and always feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns!

Hey everyone! This is my third year as your Forestry and Environmental Management Representative on the UNBSU. I was born and raised in a little Acadian fishing village just outside the Cape Breton Highlands National Park called Chéticamp, on Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Island. I transferred to UNB from l’Université de Moncton in 2015, and am now currently undertaking my fourth, and final, year of Forestry. I love being outdoors (especially in the summer), and try to spend as much time as I can in nature, doing things such as biking, hiking, and being a beach bum. When indoors (especially in winter), I like to play volleyball, or go to the gym. My hobbies also include reading novels, listening to a diverse array of music, as well as watching films .

Hi Folks! My name is Shanece (like Sha-Nephew), and I’m going into my fourth year of electrical engineering. This is my third year on council as last year I was the engineering representative, and the year before I acted as the residence representative! You can often find me lingering around the hallways in head hall at odd hours of the night, or in the SUB waiting in line for some coffee! I’m always excited to meet new people, so if you see me around campus feel free to stop and chat! If you have any questions, or concerns just shoot me an email!

Hi! My name is Emily (some call me Milly), I am a third year nursing student here. Things that I enjoy include: meeting new people, good conversations, and all things relative to art. You can find me in scrubs, or when I am not caring for patients- wearing something mustard yellow (probably procrastinating my studies by talking to someone I bumped into) at the SUB or HIL. Any questions/concerns regarding campus, school, or nursing?? Ask me if you see my face around, or simply shoot me an email!
Renaissance College Councillor

Hi UNB! I’m Grace, a third year Renaissance College student from Quispamsis, NB, and I’m thrilled to be representing my small, but mighty, faculty as the Renaissance College Faculty Councillor for the 2018-2019 academic year. I have spent the past two years as a member of the Renaissance College Society (RCS) and I look forward to linking my position on council with my role as President of RCS this year. The students at Renaissance College continue to amaze me with their passion, motivation, and dedication to life on- and off- campus. I aspire to continue developing the prominence of RC at UNB by working with the Student Union to support and connect students as positive and contributing members of the student body, but also, effective leaders and change-makers in the Fredericton community and beyond.
As Lead Proctor in Bridges House, Co-President of UNB S.P.R.I.N.G., and a Campus Tour Guide with UNB Recruitment, I have enjoyed many opportunities interacting with the innovative, inspiring, and continuously evolving student body at UNB and am excited to become involved with the Student Union this year. I can often be found all around campus so if you see me, don’t hesitate to stop and say hello! I would be happy to chat with you about all things RC!
Hello everyone! My name is Mallory, but everyone calls me Mal. I am in my third year of Science in Kinesiology. I was born and raised in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. I am thrilled and honoured to be your Kinesiology Representative for the 2018-2019 academic year. I love everything about UNB! I have felt welcomed and at home here from the first day that I stepped on campus in the fall of 2016. Serving on student council, is but one more way to enhance my UNB experience, while at the same time giving me the opportunity to work on positively contributing to campus life for both current and future students. The majority of the time, you’ll find me on campus at the HIL, the SUB, or at our spectacular new Kinesiology building. I’m lucky to have a great part time job that I absolutely love, working with kids at an afterschool program! Outside of that, I love socializing and meeting new people, escaping with some Netflix and training at the gym. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or would just like to chat!
