FROST WEEK

The Student Union is excited to present its annual Frost Week celebration this January. From exciting events and programs including snowshoeing, free food and an exciting concert!

RED AWARDS

Introducing RED Awards; is the first annual awards ceremony hosted by the Student Union to highlight and celebrate remarkable individuals and associations in the UNB community.

This new and fresh awards program title sponsored by the Bank of Montreal is a community choice award that seeks to celebrate student engagement and positive impact by both students and staff on campus. All students are invited! 

This event is will be on March 22nd 2018. More information will be released in late-January.

RED N’ BLACK REVUE

Red N’ Black Revue is back and even better this year! We are happy to host the 70th anniversary of one of UNB’s long standing traditions on January 28th 2018.
The Red N’ Black Revue is UNB’s annual talent and variety show.

Auditions for the show are January 7th from 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm and January 7th from 5 PM and 7 PM. If you or someone you know has a talent show, visit our Facebook page for more details on performing at the show!
 

Winter 2018 BOOK BUY AND SELL

Books are pricey! We get it! Make money by selling your old textbooks, or save money by selling the cheaply from other students at our WInter Book Buy and Sell program.

Join the UNBSU at our Winter 2018 Book Buy & Sell in the SUB Ballroom from January 8th to January 11th.

OFF CAMPUS HOUSING PROGRAMMING

The UNBSU is helping to connect landlords and tenants through our Off-Campus Housing Program. Landlords will be able to list a property and prospective student tenants can browse all of the available properties!

ACTIVE CAMPUS FUND

The Active Campus Fund is a grant from the UNB Student Union, that allows students to create initiatives and projects that relate to but not limited a relevant and compelling interests subjects relating particularly to sexual assault, mental health, gender related issues and race relations.  

If you have an awesome idea relating to these topics and any other student related projects, apply for this fund for an opportunity to contribute to the UNB campus!

REPEATING COURSES POLICY ADVOCACY

As part of our mandate, The UNBSU will present to the university senate amongst other advocacy projects, a policy dubbed grade forgiveness policy. This proposal to the UNB Senate will allow students to retake three courses with a maximum of two attempts for each courses with the highest of each attempt, affecting the student's grade point average.

ANNUAL GENERAL ELECTIONS

If you are interested in making change and an impact on campus through leadership, consider running in our February annual general election for any executive position (President, VP Advocacy, VP Internal, VP Finance & VP Student Life) and also run to represent your faculty or constituency for our council positions.

SELF LOVE CAMPAIGN

The UNBSU is releasing an awareness campaign to promote self love with the goal expressing the importance of self-esteem and confidence for all UNB students.
Stay tuned for this creative and impactful campaign coming in the Winter Semester.
 

ONLINE CLOTHING STORE

The UNBSU will be launching an Online Clothing Store where you can purchase affordable and good-looking UNB swag. This store will be a service for students; meaning that we will sell apparel at a breakeven price so all students can afford it. Stay tuned for this store launching in late January.
