UNB String Orchestra
The main objective of the USO is to provide opportunities for UNB, STU, and Fredericton-region musicians through participation in rehearsals and performance of mainly classical repertoire. Typically, we have two concerts throughout the entire year: one at the end of the fall semester and one at the end of the winter semester.
USO's membership is drawn from the entire student bodies and faculties of UNB and STU as well as from Fredericton, New Brunswick. We are the first full-scale string orchestra in UNB's long history and are dedicated to providing opportunities for playing and performing classical music.
