Wanted: Elections Officials
The Student Union is looking to hire both the Chief and Deputy Returning Officers for the Student Union elections of the 2010-2011 academic year.
If you have strong organizational skills and the ability to understand, adhere to and be decisive within stated election policy, this is a great job opportunity for you. Although Student Union experience is an asset, none is required to apply for this position. Requirements:
o Registered as a full-time undergraduate student at UNBF
o No Student Union Experience Required
Position Summary:
o Conducting the UNBSU election, by-elections, and referenda in accordance with the UNBSU by-laws
o Explain the election process to all candidates
o Consult with UNB Integrated Services with respect to the online voting system
o Acting as the Council Chair in her/his absence
