Redshirt Application Form

The only thing standing between you and being part of the largest, most fantastic group of people on campus is this form. Such a small price to pay, isn't it?

Before we make you part of the team, though, there are a few details we need to get out of the way:

1. By submitting this form to UNB Orientation, the applicant certifies that the information on this form is accurate

2. Be aware that other requirements for becoming a Redshirt include attending Redshirt training at the end of August, signing a conduct contract, and paying the volunteer fee to cover the cost of the Redshirt merchandise ($20 at training).

3. According to Article 7 of the Student Union Orientation Constitution and By-laws, SU Orientation Committee members must have a good academic standing (current GPA of 2.0 or higher). Consequently, I hereby grant permission for the Student Development Coordinator to access my UNB academic transcript in order to determine that I am in good academic standing and eligible for consideration for this position.

4. All Redshirts must acquire an endorsement from a member of the university community (not a fellow student). It can be a professor, coach, the Student Development Coordinator or another person approved by the Orientation Chair. If you will be living in residence in 2010-2011 you must be endorsed by your house Don. After submitting this form, have your endorser send an e-mail to suorientation@unb.ca confirming their endorsement, else your application will not be approved.

Fields in bold are required.
