Election Officials
The Student Union is looking to hire both the Chief and Deputy Returning Officers for the Student Union elections of the 2010-2011 academic year.
If you are have strong organizational skills and the ability to understand, adhere to and be decisive within stated election policy, this is a great job opportunity for you. Submit your resume and cover letter to president@unbsu.ca on or before July 2 in order to be considered for either of these positions. A basic job description is posted below:
Requirements:
o Registered as a full-time undergraduate student at UNBF
o GPA of or above 2.0
Position Summary:
o Conducting the UNBSU election, by-elections, and referenda in accordance with the UNBSU by-laws
o Explain the election process to all candidates
o Consult with UNB Integrated Services with respect to the online voting system
o Acting as the Council Chair in her/his absence
