ArtZone

ArtZone is a student art collective for students of UNB, STU and NBCCD. The goal of ArtZone is to increase student involvement in the visual arts, to explore new ideas and share varieties of experiences to build a broader educational base that will enrich the disciplined learning within the university.

Discussion that results from group activities increase the students’ abilities to consider, critique, wonder, argue and speculate on art. More formal learning comes through participation in workshops which address the creative process. Workshops that have been taught this year are: silk screening, pinhole photography, printmaking, felting, pottery, surface design and bookbinding. The ArtZone studio is at Memorial Hall.

Join our Facebook group for reminders about workshops and upcoming events. For more information, to become a member, or to register for a workshop, contact Lori Quick: (506) 453-4623, create@unb.ca.
