Engineering Undergraduate Society

The Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS) is an umbrella organization composed of seven departmental societies that represents nearly 1000 engineering students at the University of New Brunswick. The EUS provides a host of events and services to the student body which foster student engagement and supplement a technical education with valuable social activities and networking opportunities.

The events held by the EUS include Engineering Academic Orientation, a monthly Pillar Pub, an annual Engineering Cup (hockey series), themed pubcrawls, a Cregan Lecture series focusing on professors' research, and Engineering Week. EUS services include The Pillar (a faculty newspaper), merchandise sales, Engineering Expo (job fair) with the Co-op Office and the distrubution of the Engineering Endowment Fund (EEF).

The EEF funding is used to support activities and projects such as enhancement of instructional and research facilities and equipment, visits by guest speakers and researchers, staff self-improvement courses and workshops, innovative student and staff activities, and enhancement of facilities.
