A brand new fleet of bikes has arrived with 13 new bikes ready for students, faculty and staff to rent!
There are a range of bike styles from mountain to urban bikes, perfect for riding around campus, to lunch or attending an off-campus work meeting. The bikes are available for rent during regular hours of the Campus Recreation Building.
Rules of rental:
1. Rental is available to faculty, staff and students with a valid university ID.
2. Rental can be for a 1-24 -hour checkout period.
3. Rental has a fee of 10 dollars a season/semester (4 months of usage).
4. Renewals are allowed, provided availability of a different bicycle.
5. Bicycle must be returned in the same condition as checkout, with lock, key (not optional) and helmet (not optional).
6. User indemnifies the university and agrees to replacement costs in the case of loss.
7. User agrees to use bicycle responsibly, according to all applicable laws.
8. User agrees to park the bicycle at approved parking sites only (explicitly not including access handrails or ramps).
Faculty and staff must show valid university ID card. Guest, temporary or other university ID cards require prior approval for eligibility. Rentals late after 7 days are reported to the Police and are subject to collection.
