Great Computer Giveaway
Since the Summer or 2004, UNB's Information Technology Services has annually donated computers to the UNB Student Union. Before handing the computers off to the UNBSU, ITS kindly cleans the computers' hard drive and installs Windows XP.
The UNBSU along with the Financial Aid Office work together in September and January to put these computers back in the hands of the university's students.
Who qualifies for the computers?
The Financial Aid office determines which students qualify based on financial need and academic standing. Names of those that qualify are then passed onto the UNBSU where a draw takes place and the results are announced shortly afterward.
