The University of New Brunswick Student Union (UNBSU) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization that represents close to 6,000 undergraduate and professional students at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton. Our executive and council are elected each year by the student body and each year we do all we can to improve the lives of students. We do this by providing services, advocating for student issues inside the university and to the government, planning orientation week and a number of other amazing events, and taking any avenues we possibly can to improve student life.
The student Union has a long and interesting history which dates back to before WWI. If you’d like to learn more about our rich history, check out our document chronicling the evolution of the UNBSU.
